Come stop by the .retool. booth and say hi!

I will be splitting a booth with Port City Pomade. Visit their Etsy shop here.

We’ll be there along with over 300 other makers.

Looking for quality, handmade local stuff? Come join me (and .retool.) and over 60 other vendors at the 2016 SF Etsy Spring Indie Emporium. See you there!

In celebration of Earth Day, here are a few of my favorite photos that I’ve taken of trees in San Francisco over the past couple of years:

In keeping with the tree theme, I’m excited to introduce a buy one / give one campaign:

For a limited time, buy one of the items featured here and part of your purchase will go towards the cost of planting a tree. Cool, huh?

Hey there!  March is Maker Month. To celebrate, I’m taking part in the #MarchMeetTheMaker Instagram challenge organized by Joanne Hawker, a UK based illustrator/designer.  All month long I’ll be sharing photos and behind the scenes info about .retool. Here’s the schedule:

Here’s a sneak peek at the latest bag design.  It’s a small shoulder/crossbody bag with an awesomely cool magnetic buckle (it slides sideways to open). The prototype is unlined with an exterior zippered pocket.  I’m thinking of adding a partial lining and additional zippered pocket in the lining.

I’m working on a new backpack design. I finished up the prototype a few days ago.  I have a few changes to make and hope to have one or two with me at next weekend’s SF Etsy Indie Holiday Emporium at Pier 35.  They should make it into the shop by early to mid-December.

The backpack is sleek and simple with a lined zipper pocket on the outside front.  The flap closure is secured by two side release buckles.  The main compartment is unlined. The bag is big enough for a 13″ laptop.

Here’s a sneak peek:
